Having spent a lot of time on The Frugal Crafter’s blog and her YouTube channel, I thought I would try setting up a WordPress blog.
This blog will be about the life of an older country woman, as you might imagine. Things that might be included will be cooking, sewing, knitting, housecleaning(though not much of that, I expect!!), family history work, etc.
It would have been much more interesting if I had started this blog when we had chickens and pigs and family cows and large gardens, but still, we do many of our own work as we did during those years when our children were in our home.
To start out, I will announce a project I have been working on this year which is nearing completion: a knitted mitten advent calendar garland. Next post I will tell about it.
